Your Complete Guide to THE GLOW 2026 at KINTEX — And Where to Drink Before You Go
This weekend,
one of Korea's most exciting indoor music festivals takes over KINTEX Exhibition Center 2 in Ilsan, just north of Seoul. THE GLOW 2026 runs on March 21st (Saturday) and 22nd (Sunday),
and if you have a ticket in hand, you already know this isn't your average K-pop show.

The lineup is the real deal. Headliners Lee Seung-yoon and Jang Kiha lead a roster packed with Korea's finest indie and alternative acts — Thornapple (쏜애플), Hanroro (한로로), The Walters, Mate (메이트), MRCH, and more across three stages spanning Halls 7, 8, 9, and the newly added 10A. Over 10,000 music lovers are expected each day. Tickets sold out fast, with over 1,000 people in the queue the moment they dropped. If you're coming in from Seoul, or further — welcome to Ilsan. Let's make sure your day is properly sorted.
The Practical Stuff First — What You Need to Know
Wristband pickup opens at 10:00 AM at the designated booth.
Doors open at 11:00 AM. Last performances wrap up around 10:00 PM.
Once your wristband is on, re-entry is free — you can step out and come back in as many times as you like. Just don't lose or damage it, because there are no replacements issued.

For merch hunters, the official MD booth is located on the 2nd floor in front of Hall 7, open from 10 AM to 9 PM. The photo booth experience runs inside Hall 8's content zone. Lockers are available before wristband pickup even begins, so if you're carrying a lot, arrive early and store your bags first.
Getting there: the easiest option is GTX-A to Kintex Station (Exits 4 or 5). Multiple bus routes also serve the area, and paid shuttle buses run from various points across the Seoul metropolitan area — check the official THE GLOW website for routes. If you're driving, note that parking fees apply and the area around Kintex gets extremely congested after 10 PM when everyone leaves at once.
Weather Warning — It's Colder Than You Think

March in Ilsan is deceptive. Saturday's forecast shows temperatures reaching around 13°C in the afternoon — manageable. But the morning starts near freezing, and by the time the last act finishes and you're standing outside waiting for a taxi or the GTX at 10 PM, it drops back down to 4°C or below.
The venue is indoors, but the entry queue, walking between halls, and everything after the show is not. Layer up. Wear comfortable shoes — you'll be standing on hard exhibition hall flooring for most of the day, and your feet will remind you of every bad shoe decision you've made by hour six.
Now, Here's the Part That Makes Your Day Better.

Before you head into the festival, there is one stop worth making — and if you appreciate good beer, you'll thank yourself for it.
Playground Brewery Taphouse is a craft brewery and restaurant located near One Mount, a short distance from KINTEX's second exhibition hall. It's been here for 11 years, brewing its own beer in-house and serving a menu built around tacos, quesadillas, and burgers — the kind of food that's easy to share, easy to eat, and exactly what you want before a long day on your feet.
Here's the thing about going into a festival properly fueled: a mediocre convenience store triangle sandwich at 11 AM will not carry you through eight hours of live music. A proper meal and a cold craft beer at a real table, in a warm room, with actual chairs — that changes the entire experience. You arrive at the venue relaxed, comfortable, and ready. Not rushing, not hungry, not already tired.

The menu is built for exactly this kind of occasion. Tacos and quesadillas travel light on the stomach, the burgers are satisfying without being heavy, and the house-brewed beer selection means you're drinking something actually worth talking about. Not a macro lager from a plastic cup. Real craft beer, brewed on-site, in a place that cares about what it's making.
Not drinking? That's fine too. The food and non-alcoholic options are there for you. Designated drivers, non-drinkers, and anyone just looking for a warm seat and a good meal before the show — all welcome.
After the Show, There's One More Reason to Stop By.

When the last act finishes and 10,000 people simultaneously try to get home, the area around Kintex becomes chaos. The GTX queue builds up. Taxis disappear. Standing in the cold outside, trying to figure out your next move after an emotionally charged evening of live music — that's not a great ending to a great day.
Come back to Playground instead. Decompress. Talk through the setlists. The kind of show THE GLOW puts on — singer-songwriters, indie bands, real musicianship — leaves you with things to say. Say them somewhere comfortable, with a beer in hand, before the night is over.
Show your festival wristband and we'll take care of you with a special welcome for THE GLOW attendees.
In Short:
Pre-show meal and drinks → Playground Brewery Taphouse → KINTEX THE GLOW 2026 → best version of your day.
Post-show wind-down → Playground Brewery Taphouse → warm seat, cold beer, good conversation → actually great ending.
We're near One Mount, a short walk or quick ride from KINTEX Exhibition Center 2. See you this weekend.
